About us

We teach independence,
not just technique.

The Crest Guild fills one specific gap: the business side that no ski school and no technical course teaches.

Mission

What we do, and for whom

We help ski instructors build an organised, self-sufficient business. Less operational chaos, more systems that hold.

Organisation Reliability Autonomy Clarity
What we're not

No shortcuts

We are not a generic tool. We do not promise full automation. We promise control: you know where you stand and what to do next.

Vision

The world we want to help create

A future where every independent instructor has operational systems on par with a large organisation, without having to manage them alone all day.

Present + future

How they connect

The mission fixes the present, one rank at a time. The vision looks long term: serious systems for those working solo.

Most ski instructors have never issued an invoice of their own. It is not a lack of talent. It is a lack of system.

Founders

Who leads the Guild

Three different paths into the same industry: craft, business, mountain. Not a generic marketing team. People who lived the problem before building a product on it.

Co-founder, ArmoFlow · Visual Merchandise

Federico Novello

Raised in the mountains above Biella. A science liceo, then unfinished paths through engineering, philosophy and economics in the conventional sense: Milan at twenty, Paris at twenty-one. The first ticket to London, bought on his own, changed the scale. Years of spare travel and a decade modelling across Italy, Spain, the UK, France and the US sharpened his eye for work that is genuinely well made. That is the standard he brings to the Guild: build something quietly excellent and let the craft speak, not the noise.

«I want them to remember one thing: reliability without noise.»

Co-founder, ArmoFlow

Federico Ivaldi

Skiing since he was two, he raced in Sauze d'Oulx before the mountain briefly gave way to books: Economics and Finance at Sapienza, then a master's in International Business Management in the UK. Almost five years at Maison Sport: he joined when the company had about fourteen people and left when it was around eighty, growing the Italian market and working directly with instructors, ski schools and resorts across Europe. He has seen excellent instructors buried under messages and admin without the right systems. He is among those who built this project around one idea: simplify without removing the relationships.

«Technology should simplify complex work without removing the human relationships that make it valuable.»

Co-founder, ArmoFlow · Guild operating mentor

Aaron McKay

He started teaching skiing at Winter Park, Colorado. A short stint in banking did not last: he went back to teaching at the Yellowstone Club in Big Sky, Montana. There the craft settled: not only ski technique, but the harder, quieter skill underneath, helping someone find their flow on the mountain and seeing how much work it takes to do that well. A move to London took him into a startup for ski instructors, and from there the line to this project was straight. He is the mentor Guild members turn to when they reach Summit.

«I try to see the next obstacle coming.»

The values behind every decision

On a piece of content or how we answer a member, these five stay fixed.

Clarity

Simple systems that do complex things. We remove noise, we do not add it.

Reliability

It works when it counts. Promises kept, no surprises on deadlines.

Elevation

Being part of the Guild makes you look more professional. The path raises the standard, it does not replace it.

Autonomy

You do not depend on us for every detail. It works even without supervision.

Precision

Nothing left to chance, from rank criteria to the content of every stage.
